RED SANDS

We recently went exploring around the city and discovered Red Sands. Don't you mean white sands? No. There are two different "sands". Red Sands in El Paso, and then there's White Sands in New Mexico. White sands is high on our to do list but with the travel ban that is currently in effect we had to settle for Red Sands. Don't get me wrong, it's still pretty amazing and worth a trip out here if you have the chance. It is located off Montana for any locals or people traveling to the area in the future.

 I mean come on!! 😍

I about died when we pulled up! Admission is free, and it is kid friendly - however be advised that is is very HOT! I took my shoes off for literately 10 seconds and my feet were on fire! They were even sore the next day. Also, there are fire ants and other exotic bugs everywhere so please be careful if traveling with little ones. This place is also known for extreme riding/atv's so keep that in mind. You can even rent them right there on the spot. We got extremely lucky and were the only ones there at the time we went so I had a mini impromptu photo shoot 😜

The kids loved it! Make sure you bring plenty of water with you, even if you're only there for a few minutes because it gets super hot!

We're still pretty new to the area but I am currently working on an El Paso travel + food guide that I will publish later on, or when we are about to move, to help anyone traveling to or moving to the area. The list I have already compiled is huge, but if you have any suggestions for me please let me know!
