MAY SHOPPING HAUL- AMAZON, WALMART + TARGET

Hi! Its been so long since my last post! Quick life update: We are no longer in Kansas. As of November 2019, we relocated to El Paso, Texas! Frankie's still in the army, but his job here has him with a lot of down time, which we love. We'll be here for a little bit. Texas has been really good to us so far. We already had a bunch of friends here that we met throughout the years moving around in the army, which has been a blessing! Also, within the first 30 days of moving here, I was offered a pretty good job. So in addition to my blog, i work full time. It can be a handful at times trying to juggle both, but for right now, i'm loving it! We love it here in Texas. It's like everything fell into place immediately. We've always talked about making Texas our forever home. If you've been following me for a while you know that we are originally from the New Jersey/Philadelphia area, so it's still at least a 24-30 hour drive from home, but something we always wanted. We won't stay in El Paso longer than we need to, but like i said, we love it here. Being a military family, we've always lived at least two hours away from a major city aka good shopping. El Paso is beautiful, loaded with shopping, and actually a lot bigger than I had imagined. What can i say, we just love Texas! On a serious note, we have been thinking about the Dallas/Houston/Austin area for "the after life" in a few years (😉), so if you have any input on those areas please send them my way!

Anyways! I figured I would start doing a monthly haul of items that I purchased throughout the month  - mainly Target, Amazon, Walmart, and Old Navy. I know I post a lot on the gram and my liketoknowit page but on here i can go into depth about the items and actually review them. So, lets get started. As always, all opinions are my own!

Walmart:

I'm obsessed with the time and tru brand! It's very affordable and realistic, meaning the fit is tts, and not made for a pre-teen like some other brands. I love these $8 tanks. They come in a bunch of colors. They are also stretchy/loose, so tts. I did a small and i knot the front for a cute look.

Next is this dress. This is a new brand exclusive to Walmart - Scoop. They have so many cute items and they all have a boho vibe. This dress is a Free People dupe for just $39 and free shipping. I'm wearing the size small. If you're taller than me (i'm 5'3) I would size up for length. Comes in white, black, blue, and yellow. I tried grabbing other colors and it has been going in and out of stock like crazy!

Amazon:

Affordable work wear tops. I found and love this one. I am wearing a small. It comes in tons of colors. I will definitely be ordering more. I also ordered these joggers which are very comfortable. Think of the 90 degree leggings, but in a jogger form. They're supposed to be a cropped jogger, but i'm only 5'3 so i feel they're a bit long on me. Other than that, they're okay - i just wish they fit like the photo.

I added a couple more wrap bracelets and earrings to my collection. You can find these all here and here. I wear these all the time - I constantly find so many different colors and prints.

Earrings | 11 pc earring set | heart sunglasses | hat

These earrings are so fun for transitioning into summer! I linked a bunch on this post here. The pink pair comes in a set of 11 for under $9!

Swimsuits!

swimsuit | hat | glasses

This lace one is super cute. I was really excited to receive this one.  It has the lace detail in the middle, and crosses in the back. I sized up to a medium in this one for comfort. It also comes in a bunch of different colors and prints.

This one is described as retro style, and it is backless. If you're busty, i recommend going up a size or two in both because you will "hang out" from the sides. It comes with a string that you pull through the swimsuit to make it adjustable which helps, but just a little fyi. After reading the reviews on both of these, i went with a medium in both.

This ruffled one shoulder one piece that I ordered last year is amazing. Very comfortable, and true to size. Comes in a couple different colors and prints. This one is my favorite swimsuit! Wearing a small.

black lace suit | one shoulder | backless suit | black kimono |
                                                      | leopard wrap skirt | sandals |

This one is for the kids - with them being out of school, we ordered these for something to fun to do with them. Adriana has been begging me to color her hair for a while now, but i think she's still too little for that. So, these will have to do for now, lol. They work pretty good, we all had fun coloring our hair. It washes out easily in the shower.

Target:

tank

This week Target has a really good sale going on with tees and tanks. This kiss tee below is just $8 this week, as well as the tank above. The other band tees are $14.99 but have been in and out of stock constantly so i grabbed a bunch when they finally restocked.

Also, just for the record - I'm not into any of the "rocker bands" - i just LOVE the tees! 😁 However, I'm a huge fan of the universal thread tees (not pictured) which are $5 this week. They've very comfortable and come in so many prints and colors. I typically stock up when they're this cheap.

This tank is a staple piece! Comes in a bunch of different colors and has a comfortable fit. It reminds me of my favorite amazon tank. This one is on sale this week for $5.

Lastly, if you are in need of some new sleepwear, i highly recommend these shorts! They're $12.99 and they are sooooo soft. They come in black and gray. (tts) Also, how cute is this $12 leopard fanny pack? I got it because I needed something to take with me on bike rides to hold my phone and other items and it's so practical, not to mention leopard!

What are some new items you've grabbed?
